SA Bulldog for FS2004?

Post by 233SQN »

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the old Pegasus (or was it Phoenix?) SA Bulldog for FS2004? It was freeware but I can’t find it anywhere, just the Tim Conrad version.

PS for any Air Cadet/RAF ab initio trainer types out there…. Iris are about to release a very good looking Grob Tutor

thanks
Thanks

There is also this one: bdog_mk1.zip at flightsim.com by Tim Conrad.

Certainly wasn't done by Pegasus as they only produced WW2 stuff.

Although this doesn't really answer Colin's question, FYI there is also a payware FSX Bulldog in development...although it might be quite some time before it's available.

Indeed! It looks quite impressive from the screenshots on their FB page. I've really enjoyed some of the more recent Iris releases. Their quality and systems depth have really improved over earlier projects.

I've since been looking everywhere but can't find it either. :( You'd think being that it was freeware somebody would still have a copy. *sigh*

I had that Bulldog many years ago, but I don't have a copy any more.

It's alive!! Thank you so much Pete. :hello: FSX throws a 'FS98 or earlier gauge not supported' error (in FSX) when each gauge loads but that should be easy to fix...all the gauges appear to be common default ones found in FSX. :) Considering that she's a FS2002 aircraft I'd say that she's held together pretty well over the years. B-)

edit: It appears the gauges are modified from original default gauges. Oh dear. :(

It's not at all bad for a 13 year old model. Should be easy enough to find replacement gauges, but there is an odd transparency issue with the glass in P3d. Not sure if it's fixable. *-)
