Skyvan in Dubai... and a Ramez prank show

I just wanted to share with you something that caught my attention; Skydive Dubai is using Skyvan OE-FDK for skydiving activities in Dubai, and it is based at the Skydive Dubai Desert campus. If I ever have the chance to see it, I'll try to snap some photos. To be frank, I've always wanted to see a flying Classic British aircraft in person.




Plus, an overhead view of the Palm campus that the SC-7 also operates out of.


Interestingly, Ramez Galal decided to use the plane in a prank show that airs through this Ramadan on MBC. Here are some screens:

The victim gets invited to a hotel's opening ceremony, and is then offered a ride in a Skyvan over Dubai, while seated next to a masked Ramez. Then, "something wrong" happens with the plane (say, a bad smell or something) and "Frank", the pilot, orders some people to jump. Ramez then decides to mess with the star in vexation until the plane lands at the Skydive Dubai airport. After that Ramez unmasks himself and tells the victim that it was all a prank.
