Well, it could be a decent aircraft for a start.

But it
is Canada, a beautiful land filled with very nice people.
I hope to visit there some day.

Wrong Dave I know but I was going to say exactly that. In the end.. I didn't bother saying anything and the next time I looked.. DG had done it for me
I think perhaps a Rapide on floats would have been better still

OK here goes with my 2 cents (except we no longer have such a thing as 1 cent coins) ..... given where it is we shouldn't we be looking at a Beaver on floats. There, I trumped you all.
