National Memorial Arboretum

Post by Molyned »

Decided that the car needed a run yesterday, so at SWMBO's 'suggestion' we headed West(ish) to the National Memorial Arboretum near Alrewas, Staffs. This is a 150 acre tree planted site of memorials to the fallen of the last 100 years or so. It's not a cemetary but has over 300 dedicated memorials. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Here's a shot I took of the Royal Air Force Association tribute.

Yes Dave - much more interesting than I thought. We only managed about half of it before I was done for.

That's the problem mate.. it's grown to such a size, you need to be super-human to get round it all. It's getting bigger all the time too :-O
