New World Record for the UK

Post by Airspeed »

Surprised that this hasn't been raised already.
Congratulations to Mrs Queen, who has been Queen of the UK for longer than any other man or woman or semi-deity in recorded history.
Cheers, Mike.

Why would they lock me up for what I said?
Past Monarchs believed that they were divine, or at least personally endorsed by the Big Feller.

Anyhow, though I'm not a staunch Royalist, I think she should get a second crown, or a gold medal at least.

btw, you probably heard that Tony Abbot was traded in for a new leader of the ruling party overnight EST. a bit under 2 years. :$

Agreed. :agree: She's been through some tough times in her reign. If it was me I'd have thrown in the towel long ago, re-christened the Royal yacht 'Britannia' to be named 'It's Five O'Clock Somewhere' , and sailed off to an island somewhere. B-)

Just teasing ya! Might have lost your head 400 years ago though. Yes the Queen does deserve something for all she has been through/ She is a very remarkable woman.

Hey, are you Aussies in a tizzy down there? I mean changing Prime Ministers every 5 minutes has to be a little disconcerting, no? I had just become used to the Sheila when 'poof' she's a gonna and now Abbot goes.

In a tizzy? You bet!
scott morrison, (lower case intended), has been tipped as the new Treasurer.
What does "SM" stand for? Well some deviants practice it for gratification, just btw.
This excuse for a man was in charge of turning back the refugee boats, and locking up any who made it into our waters.
He subcontracted the detention centre management to a private outfit who have been accused of rape, torture and beatings.
He introduced laws that result in jail terms for any person, including doctors and volunteer caretakers, releasing information about the conditions in the centres.
Any questions put to him were dismissed with "We do not comment on operational matters."
They've already told us that people who live beyond retirement age are a drain on society, and the age of entitlement is over. So much for advances in health management.
I'm expecting a knock on the door and being told that I've been sold to China to pay for all the cheap sh-t that we buy as instant land fill.
The trade is important, though, because they buy our coal and iron ore to make the crap.
It's also important to give them money so that they can buy Australian farms which will send their produce back to China.
This is publicly described as a "Free Trade Agreement", but all details are withheld from the public because they might be commercially sensitive, much the same as the "Trans Pacific Partnership" in which we are selling our souls to the USA.
(no fault of our USA Forum Members, just as I have no control over what's happening at this end.)
So, if the posts stop, look out for the live export trade photos, you might see me in the crowd.

Until they take me away, I've decided that as of today, all my "true" posts will be in black.
Lies and jokes will be in this colour
Cheers, Mike.

Oh, looks like I hit a nerve Mike. Apologies for that, Don;t bl;me you one bit for being upset.. Looks like politicians are universally despised in Oz as much as they are in these Colonies. Only explanation for the fact that the two front runners here for President on the Republican side have never held any public office. Now if the egomaniac windbag Trump wins, I may join you in China!
