Nice looking kite, pity they got the wing section wrong & had to add a L.E. extension to help tip stall.

No Keith...The saw tooth leading edge was designed into the wing at the start...It is an excellent device to prevent any wing dropping at the stall...Look at the Hunter (even though it was an after thought there, it was an immediate success).Dev One wrote:Nice looking kite, pity they got the wing section wrong & had to add a L.E. extension to help tip stall.

Still a pity though Peter, saves washout I suppose. IIRC the Beagle Pup prototype had mods to its L.E. to put on some droop, but I think that was full span, not a saw tooth.

Well having flown Hunters with and without the sawtooth, I very rapidly got to LOVE it...I even love the look of it!...Each to his own!
