Do us a flavour !

Post by Molyned »

Whilst away last week in the fair land of the North, I came across this specimen of their taste in food delicacies -

I haven't tried them yet - leaving that privilege to the missus - afterall she is of that ilk.
Cheers

Might be a bit high octane rating? I though cracking was an oil/petrol process!

Me too!!!

Very, very, very similar in flavour (and content) to the Black Country (and South Wales) delicacy of Faggots.

Indeed Kevin, and let's not forget black pudding. Had a plate of that last week, with bacon, sausages and eggs, and I could actually feel the walls of my arteries furring up. :)

Now you're talking.
Some years back, myself and colleagues regularly went to The White Hart in Fulbourn, on a Friday lunchtime. They did the most wonderful bacon and black pudding baguette - non of that rubbishy 'wafer thin' stuff, but proper thick cut Cambridgeshire bacon.

Awesome

And while you're waiting, fancy a packet of pork scratching's with your pint?
