A recent video of the Avro Vulcan farewell prompted me to revisit my IRIS Vulcan. Although a couple years old, it is still enjoyable to fly. However, I was wondering if anyone has developed any tweaks for the cockpit panels.
For some reason I cannot get the 2D mini-panel to show on my install. Not a big deal, but it got me wondering if anyone has added a more fitting popup for the autopilot or radio panels.
The camera definitions for the cockpit could also use some tweaks. It seems that there is some redundancy between the main VC View and the first Camera View for the "pilot". Both Camera Views for the "pilot" and "co-pilot" are slow to pan. I'm not familiar with the various entries for the camera views, so I'm asking for some direction here.

Does it also turn on the generators? I've got the start sequence down pat, but it seems that everything is running on the batteries as the radios and GPS go dead after a few minutes. I have to use the hotkey to turn on the generators.
It basically completes the Rapid Start routine with one tap of the mouse. Click it once (Dave put it over the co pilots armrest) and that's pretty much it. Make sure your lights are on and off you go. I actually flew the Iris Vulcan with real weather cranked in last week.. Culdrose to Valley. Had I had to do the start routine myself.. I'd still be on the runway at Culdrose as I don't fly the Vulcan often
As you can see.. Dave doesn't fly the Vulcan often either For sure.. nothing broke for me during the flight. I wasn't tanking on either.. about 260-300kts.
After flying other similar a/c from that era, I would think by now that some of the components I mentioned could be replaced, added or updated.
The modern radio stack works fine, but just seems out of place. Also the "Bendix-King Radio AP" is non-functional as the functioning autopilot is between the seats which makes it challenging trying to fly straight and level while flipping switches. I know I've seen a similar but popup a/p on another FSX a/c, but cannot remember which one.
