DG, I was looking at a video of dynamic reflections ( which, of course, I can no longer find the link for 8) ). It showed the reflection of an aircraft in a nearby window - rather amazing but I can imagine it doesn't do the FPS any favours, as you say. Looking forward to playing with it though.

Nev, I'm not sure you installed the correct Objectflow for 3.1. There's an ongoing thread at Orbx, and John Venema has just said :

We're been testing a new build of ObjectFlow for 3.1, so Ed may have already side-slipped it into FTX Central or its self-updater by now based on Amord's experience above.

Paul,

It has just updated from 1.0.11.3 (yesterday) to 1.0.11.4 this morning via FTX central. Thanks for the tip on that one,

Nev

Cheers Nev. Just got it myself, and I'm now on P3Dv3.1 too. :)

BTW can you and/or Dave check the rotating beacon on the default Carenado Bonanza - I think it's no longer working in external view.

I'll have a look tonight Paul, if I get a chance (quite busy with family ATM).
Only had the briefest play last night. Apparently, they've fixed the dodgy default wake effects, but any addon ones will need to be edited, which could be a pain.

Okay Dave. I've just checked again - the beacon casts its light over the external model, and into the VC, but the beacon itself does not illuminate or rotate. I've posted on the LM forum about it.

Still no joy with the strobes on the A2A Comanche and C-182, by the way.

Just a thought, did you clear out your shaders after upgrading?

Yep, did that, and let it rebuild. Still doesn't work. :)

Have you got a link to that info Dave? I've been checking the SDK but I can't find anything pertinent to the wake effects and it'd be nice to get them fixed on our various boats!

Haven't had chance to look at it in sim myself yet though!
