Ah.. that might cause a problem (re getting the trim fixed). Ours was done by Brian Withers.. himself an accomplished pilot with a couple of thousand hours on Shacks and
thousands of hours on the Nimrod and they were done with a great deal of care over a period of time in order to get them within fighting distance of the real thing.
In this mornings flight.. I noticed that trim requirements are pretty much the opposite of what they should be. Drop the gear and you need trim down.. the Air Atlantique Ops Manual for DeltaVictor states the opposite and flap operation is the same. Full flap is pretty much redundant. It's nice they went for nosewheel steering rather than a castoring nosewheel and turning by diff braking. Much easier to get about the place without looking like a numpty
I don't like the comm boxes on either side of the cockpit. While the one on the RH side doesn't look too bad from the pilots seat, the one on the pilots side appears the size of a ghetto-blaster. Pan round to the left and Y I K E S.. WTF is that

Oddly, I can't recall seeing these on any Dove I've been in. Probably been knicked (err.. removed) or my memory lapsing a wee bit
While it doesn't seem particularly heavy on frames.. I did notice the main airport building on the IoS had gone see-thru as I taxied in. I left before the rest of the airfield disappeared around me

Thankfully.. both Predannack and Culdrose were intact when I returned.
It has an RN paint so I
have to like it. Just wish a little more attention to detail with the FD had been given. Fingers crossed it makes JF a few bob which will encourage them to take on more 'Brits'
