It is as usual a case of 'hurry up and wait' where you rush to install the latest P3D then wait for FSUIPC, ORBX and other 3rd party developers to produce a fix. At present the JF Dove, and Instant Scenery 3 cause CTD. How much longer will 3rd party developers put up with this?

I have now spent $170 on this product, maybe I should try FSX Steam?

Hi Nev,
You could buy a copy of FXS Steam for each finger, and still get change out of that $170!

If P3D was as far developed as the Joint Strike Fighter, all you'd be looking at would be a promise (with fingers crossed behind the back).
meanwhile, the price tag is belting away like a stopwatch.

The price is belting away that is for sure! do you use FSX Steam, if so is it an improvement on acceleration?

Just upgraded. No issues to report, everything seems to be working great. Only need ASN to be updated.
That's the price you pay for sim that's in constant development, and add-ons that use backdoors and hacks into the code. No one is being forced to update on day 1 anyway.
BTW, the JF Dove works fine, no CTD here.

In short, roughly the same, but I never tried carriers and seaplanes, or any of my fancy scenery add-ons.
fps weren't that different for me, and the general appearance was satisfactory.

tbh, I ran Steam acouple of times, then went straight back to Acceleration, without seeing if my add ons worked with Steam, or not.

I didn't set up exact scenarios to compare, but if you'd like me to, I will try.
