Gasp ! :-O That's a foul accusation Joe ! We only talk about ships because we know you non-maritime types are deeply fascinated by our rambling reminiscences and grainy photos. I'll have you know we are providing a service to the forum here. ;)

LOL!

That gave me one of the bestest laughs I've had in some time.

You had me going for a second - or two ;)

Dave,

I'm not really into rafts.. Nor would I ever want - to be In To them.. If you catch my drift..

Yeah. Boats (except airboats) just don't do it for me.
Also.
I don't like skiing. Roller blading. Skating. Nothing affixed to my feet.on slippery surfaces..either
I do however like working in a bucket lift up about 35 ft or12 meters for some ...with the lift swaying back and forth and a light pole swaying back and forth with snow blowing one way and the clouds moving in a different direction. All out of time.
With my head tilted waaay back looking up at the fixture.
I'm in heaven... .... Would you believe that makes some people feel like, - seasick?
Well I don't get it. *-) and I'm being quite serious.
.. Anyway ..no snow in Florida so it's not as much fun working hightime here :(

:$ oh I've gone OT :hide:

SHIPS

carry on...

DB, those a very good models- maybe the best merchant ships I've seen for FSX, in fact. You say 'soon to be released'...are you beta testing them ?

Strictly speaking.. no but Henrik offered the set out to anyone wanting a looksee (and you know me!!!).. the results of which would ensure a timely release. Unfortunately.. I found a couple of small issues and the day after Henrik sent these, he jetted out to India :-O They'd have been released last week otherwise. There are no tracks for any of the 'Classic' set though of course, they can be substituted and/or pulled into play using AIC. The set includes the 2 T2's you see plus Korsholm/Dimitrius, SS Martha and SS Aslaug, the military T2's Enoree, Hat Creek, Saugatuck, unarmed versions of Saugatuck and 1 with no name for general use plus the Victory ships American Victory, American Victory M, Manderson Victory, Ethioian Victory, Tranquebar and South African Vanguard.. 18 ships in all ;) The grey on the unnamed T2 is a little dark for RN use but if lightened (something I plan to do) will work well as some of our older RFA's.
I've seen him up at SoH briefly today but I've no idea when he's back home. Won't be long though ;)
