For those of you interested in weather phenomena, there is the most extraordinary sight on current 1830 rainfall radar. There is a thin line of torrential rain which stretches from c. Aberdeen in the North to Nantes in the South. I have never seen anything like it and would not care to encounter it whilst airborne ( I imagine it is right at the leading edge of the cold front )

It goes further south than Nantes...www.meteo60.fr & look for the radars.

it passed over here at about 5:30 p.m. A very impressive rain storm & howling gale when watched from inside the house.
