Lost and found. A day in the life....

Post by Airspeed »

Mrs A & I helped a friend (of my age) to start packing for her house move 3 days ago.
Yesterday, she rang to say that she needed an arm sling from her first aid set, and did we know where it had been packed?
We'd only packed 6 boxes, so I knew exactly.
I told her what box it was in, against the wall at the head of the bed, and that she had insisted on writing on it herself, as it was so important.
In red, she wrote "FIRST AID" and in black "Kitchen".
I've looked at all the boxes, and it's not here, she says.
OK, we'll drive over after lunch, I told her.
That'll be a waste of time, because it's simply not here, came the reply.
Did you see anybody go into the front bedroom and take it away?
No.
Then it's there, just rest and we'll come.
45 minutes later, we walk in, go to the spot described, and point to the box on top of the pile.
Oh, I didn't see the red writing, I thought it was just kitchen stuff. :$

We need this sort of thing to fill in our retirement, right?
Cheers, Mike.

Maybe to make a sling shot at one of those Aussie death adders or perhaps she is just a clumsy Aussie.
