Apparently,to the extent that Facebook was messaging people, telling them "you have been tagged in photos on XYZ's page, and were you aware of this?"
Big brother is already here, they were able to use Facebook images to find people on street security cameras, and see where they were going.
How they get access is anybody's guess, but not surprising when she said that you can buy a large array of personal information on 100 people, for about $50.
On the face of it, you may think, "so what", but the info. is being used by advertisers, and who knows how many identity thieves?
This didn't come from some conspiracy theorist, the speaker was the regular science guest on the ABC (government).
When they start using FARCIAL RECOGNITION, I reckon I'll change my avatar.
