Thanks for that Mr Flyer, or should I just call you 511?

Golly, that Provost looks a lot like the Winjeel *-) are you sure they didn't copy the design? :hide:

The FD is so close to that of the big W, it's uncanny.

Furthermore, would you believe that I had no engine sound? What are the chances?! :tunes: :dunno: Of course, this is because Keith aliased it to another FS2004 aircraft, which I don't have.

Hi Mike. You can call me anything you like, as long as you don't call me early in the mornings.

I have Gary Jones Leonides sounds for the Provost. They were available on BritSim, but we know what happened there. If you search on here, you will find a thread for Provost sounds, in which you were one of the posters, and you said that you had those sounds.

:poke:

Hope it's not too early! :shhh:
I've looked at the contents of my Single Leonides folder.
It contains Griffon contra-rotating files for some unknown reason.
I have the twin Leonides, also by Gary Jones, but alas.... :$

I updated P3D to v3.4 a few days ago, and have just discovered the Winjeel demo is now available to me. Is anyone still using it regularly and if so, what are your latest thoughts ? Having spent about half an hour with the demo this afternoon, I really like it. The deep bass in the engine sound is wonderful - I've never heard anything quite like it from a comparable engine in FSX or P3D. Definitely on the list - what a great aircraft.

Don't have the Winjeel (though I'd have got the Provost had it been made) but I DO have Ant's Trojans and the sounds on these are second to none. Not sure if he makes them himself but they're top flight ;)

Hi Paul,
I have the payware version, and consider it money well spent.
I've found it very pleasant to fly, and the bells & whistles are top notch.
Ant has done heaps of freeware in the past, I have his Aussie airports, and either aircraft or repaints (off the top of my head, I can't name them), but he is certainly a quality maker!

Thanks for the thoughts, chaps. Anthony certainly does some nice work - I've got his Aussie airports and his Tiger Moth. The Winjeel will be delivered soon. :)
