Well,
Another educational visit for me.
That Civil Air Ensign on the fin got me digging, and now I know some things that I didn't last night.
Agree, neat scheme, wonder why they left the gun covers in place when it was civilianised?

The real thing had smooth LE's Mike.. no sign of bangers. Unfortunately, it's not possible to do that with the Real Air model
