Thanks for looking...I have to say that I do NOT like the beam on that airport beacon...In FS9 it started exactly like that for a second or two and then changed into a proper light that did not really show its beam edges and went out for many miles...Seems like they missed a stage when making those lights!

Great shots Peter. Though looking at that snow makes me want to put on my thermals.

Regards
Nigel.

Well I'm already wearing my winter kit Nigel...Even my "Fouley" from boating days! I'm hoping to do a couple of legs on my RTW this week and that is down in warmer climes but I have been in Alaska to try to get my North America Freeware Traffic to work...I have installed it a couple of times now and it puts all the files in place but the only way I can get it to work is to disable its parts in its Control Panel and then tick the "Default FSX Traffic"...That produced the results in this post along with some other good pictures that I have not yet published...I'm hoping to get the Orbx NA Traffic working before my RTW gets to this part of the world...Sorry to hear you are having problems with your FSX but I have never really used FSX except for Beta testing a Lightning fighter and also to use FSX as a receptacle for scenery in my old P3D v2. In fact, now that I'm using P3D v3 it is still doing that job to allow me to use Orbx scenery that I had already bought for v2. I have never really used FSX for anything else as I took an instant dislike to it when I was beta testing it and found that it had broken most of the things that I liked!

So P3D v3 is where I am now and I guess it is where I will stay...But I still have a lot to learn about using it :)
