I read an article a few months ago where a writer wrote.
If you peel a banana from the stalk ... You're doing it wrong.. Monkeys peel it from the perianth ..using the stalk as a handle.

Why assume that the monkeys are doing it right?

I go to Tescos and buy there ripen at home bananas. Take about three days but least you know they will not be rotten.

I didn't know that mosquitoes bit bananas, Nige! You learn something every day here.
Actually, I react badly to mosquito bites, I wish I could rub inside my skin, push the poison out from underneath.
