Has Any-One Tried Linda Akin to FSUIPC

Post by Nigel H-J »

A programme which you can assign your joystick to (rather like FSUIPC and a quick glance at their manual it appears that you do need to have a licenced version of FSUIPC to run Linda).

Where this programme appears to shine is that if you have a Hotas Joystick and not able to assign all your buttons through FSUIPC then Linda may be the answer. It is freeware so no having to dig deep into your pocket.

If Larry pays this thread a visit this could be his answer as he previously wrote on Wed Apr 27, 2016 16:18
In the end I bought the full version of FSUIPC and used that to program the buttons/axes but it doesn't see the 'mode' knob so I only have one 'mode' instead of three.
This may well also help any-one who has multi-functioning buttons through different channels.

Linda's great. I used to use it all the time, but have now switched to just using FSUIPC.
It doesn't do anything that FSUIPC can't do, but it is a lot easier to use.

I hurt my brain trying to understand it. However I do use one of its scripts within FSUIPC. The one which affects/corrects the friction of aircraft on the tarmac. Seems to work.
