Just a Heads-up that Rob Richardson is nearing completion of the Beagle Pup 150. I have been working on the paint schemes and have about 30 finished now, including examples of most countries that ordered the Pup.
cheers, Peter
Well Dave, you could paint some of the modern schemes as I have concentrated on the original Beagle factory schemes in the main. I am working on the paint kit at the moment.
Kevin, the model is for FSX Acceleration. Rob is currently finishing the VC and FDE.
A few Foreign schemes:
When I eventually get my flight sim software re-installed I might have to give this a go. I learnt to fly on a Beagle Pup but it was the 100 not the 150. Anyone know if the author intends to do the 100 as well? Don't think that much would need changing.
I used to fly in the Beagle Pup from Wickenby Airfield back in the seventies with John Harrison an AEO from 617 Squadron but not altogether sure whether it was a 150. Nevertheless it was a lovely aircraft to fly but one thing about it was the flaps, they were electrical and you had to look down to watch when the flap indicator came to the desired position and if memory serves me right they appeared to be quite slow but then again, I was used to using mechanical flaps.
Looking forward to when it is released.
Regards
Nigel.
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
