7+ hours? I wish! Up here 6 hours is the best we get and if the weather is bad (and it really is this week) daylight doesn't happen!

I remember how dark it got when I lived in London, here in San Francisco we have 9 hours 32 minutes of daylight, clear and cold (for us) but not as cold as yesterday.

Err, we'll be thinking of you freezing your a*** off while we are sunning on the beach next July! OK, maybe back home it will be "singing in the rain", but a nice mild rain on England's green and pleasant land.
