....and what about flying with THIS pilot?

Post by Airspeed »

Alarmingly, not long after the link to the comedy sketch, this really happened;
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-12-31/i ... ed/8155374

I thought it strange, how various countries reported the same story in different ways..."sacked"/"resigned"/ "may resign"/"flying while drunk"/"attempting to fly"
How he was allowed past baggage check is a mystery, an ordinary passenger would have been refused boarding. :dunno:
Cheers, Mike.

Absolutely disgraceful, why on earth did security allow him through? This is now the second incident I have read about this week after a captain in Canada was found to be three times over the limit when aboard his aircraft, the co-pilot found him asleep in the left hand seat.

Regards
Nigel.

Err... no it isn't . It is one quarter of the driving limit - 9 micrograms breath, 20 mgs blood, 27 mgs urine ( the latter two now having been abandoned as far as i know )
