Come across an old (oblqiue) aerial photo of ZRH, showing a Trident (probably a 2E) just departing the runway on Monday 17th May, 1976. From the looks of the shadow position I would guess it was early afternoon. Was wondering (for no particularly good reason) if it was possible to work out what flight it would have been? Am guessing it would have been UK-bound (LHR most likely).

I only have a BA Israel timetable for '76 but my BEA '73 shows Tridents ran daily dep 1120, 1555 and 1850 Zurich to LHR, non-stop. There are 2 later flights but this depends on time of year and day. It doesn't specify T2 or T3 so could have been either.

Unless it changed, it could be the 1555 and at that shadow is deceptive or perhaps the 1120 running a bit late

So we're there then or thereabouts
John did our VA flights from the World Airlines (Air routes) Timetables but I've no idea what year he chose. They're probably close to the '73 BEA schedule.
