Happy Birthday Dave  :guinn:

If I still lived in Bloxwich, I'd have come round with a few cans

Sorry I missed yesterday, but belated Happy Birthday from me. Don't worry about hitting 60, Dave - 60 1/2 is much worse.

Happy birthday Dave.
Extremely sorry for not realising. I always go straight to "new posts" and never scroll to the bottom of the page. :worried:

Just saw this post this morning....hope you had a happy birthday Dave and sorry it slipped past most of us. I remember the big 60 (just) and it really is just a number, you still feel younger inside, (I feel like an 18 year old.....but that's a different story ) Age creeps up on all of us, you know you're old if they have discontinued your blood type, or if those little brown Liver Spots on your hands start showing through your gloves!!

Until then enjoy the banter and the fun of CBFS and be like me....I find that growing old is compulsory....growing up is optional

Happy Birthday mate   :guinn:

It looks as if you had a reasonable Birthday celebration, albeit after your late shift, but I wish you many more to come & not count the years yet. I am at an age where I can brag about it, but my body wont keep up with my brain......

For Mike.. yes mate. I arrived 3.4.57 to much relief from my mom who desperately wanted a boy (she already had an evil daughter of 7yrs old!!)

Yup.. yesterday wasn't so bad. Helen brought the grandchildren around before I went to work and to be honest.. my shift was a kind one with no 2100 or 2200 deliveries. The sun shone, I didn't get wet, the van didn't breakdown or suffer a puncture and I was back home by 2045. Alison had stayed up so that we could have a drink (she gets up at 3am on work days so is usually in bed by half 8). She's probably pooped this morning!!

I still maintain that us kids shouldn't be 60. Parents, aunts and uncles are 60.. not kids  Thank you all for your kind wishes
