When this post came up I was watching documentary on Matt Monro on YT (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJuVbr8pnAY). A kinder, gentler time time. It all seemed to fit.

The great ones make it look so easy, don't they? My favorite line from the documentary was "If David Niven could sing he would have sung like Matt Monro."

I think the styles in the 70's were great, brings back memories of our hosties with Alidair, knee high blue leather boots, short skirts and you get high on the Channel #5.... whoops getting carried away here.

1) I was born 20 years too late.
2) That girl must have had the world's thickest pair of earplugs.
She gets a gold star for her ability not to flinch, too. I feel like ducking even though I'm just sitting at my desk.
