The last picture of a berg which you posted looks like a bloodhound lying down facing the camera!

One from last year..to me it looked like "lion king" or maybe the "Sphinx" !!

Robbie, those pictures are brilliant, many of us here will not get to see icebergs in real life as you do, it must be a fantastic experience not only to see those icebergs but also the hump backed whales.

You're very welcome Nigel, it is a lovely place to live..if you don't mind no restaurants, cell phones, pizza delivery, cinemas etc, but we make up for that in other ways...got to go it's lunch time!!

Sounds just my cup of tea Robbie, Babs cooks extremely well, we don't go to the cinema when you can watch the films on television even if you have to wait a few years. Cell phones annoy me anyway, rather make do with the landline.

BTW, just called Babs in to see your lobster, her response was................Oh WOW!!! I could eat that if nothing else!!!!

I do hope you gave your dog some of it Robbie, I would feel too guilty not sharing it after seeing that pleading look on his face.

Lol Nigel he's 154 lbs already, he gets cod 3 times a week...but yes he always joins in I spoil him rotten, lobster is $6 Canadian a pound this year but I do have to have to go out with a friend to collect them from the pots.

Well he does have a best friend Nigel, but they share everything with no animosity at all..thank God!!



We do have a good selection of seafood here Nigel, shrimp, crab, lobster and loads of winkles which the locals don't eat for some strange reason?, but unlike UK we don't have cockles, that's one thing I really miss, I love cockles!!. last year we went to drag for scallops, they are huge here, I shucked 6 and got 1 lb of meat!!.

We do have a good selection of seafood here Nigel, shrimp, crab, lobster and loads of winkles which the locals don't eat for some strange reason?, but unlike UK we don't have cockles, that's one thing I really miss, I love cockles!!. last year we went to drag for scallops, they are huge here, I shucked 6 and got 1 lb of meat!!.

Well Robbie, TBH I have never tried cockles crabs or lobster though Babs loves them. When I worked in a hotel at 15 and saw how the live lobsters were just put into a pan of boiling water I could not bear the thought of eating one, guess the same for crabs.
