As a birthday treat my wife has decided I get to redecorate my eldest sons bedroom today!

Number one son has picked blue for his new colour scheme.
The current wall colour is a 0.0001% different shade of blue.

Glasses on or off I can't tell where where I've painted or not painted albeit by touching the wall and getting paint all over myself then have to repaint the part of the wall where I have (or haven't) just touched.

A great day to point out I'm getting blind and forgetful!

Still good ol' mum dropped off 24 bottles of Birra Morretti - maybe I should just crack them open now - that'll make the painting more entertaining!!

I know exactly where you're coming from with the painting. Last time we did our place.. I thought I was being really helpful by continuing on from the stairway ceiling and doing the landing upstairs. When I pointed out my handy work, SWMBO said 'I've already painted that'!
