Thankyou Peter, that is a wonderful piece of model engineering. I think they would be wise to use a dropsheet rather than assembling the machine on the grass.

What a magnificent model! Not only that, but it sounds wonderful too.

That is wonderful. I could not do that hobby, my heart would be in my mouth the whole time awaiting the inevitable.

OMG!!!
All that hard work, it must have been a painful experience to see that end up a wreck.
Watched the video a couple of times but could not understand why the aircraft suddenly veered upwards unless there was another controller interfering with the signals. both starboard and centre engines failed very soon after and being asymmetrical there was insufficient rudder to counteract the yaw and it just went in.
Hope they can at least re-build it.
Regards
Nigel.

Also, I hope they're insured. A couple of cars there may need some paintwork.

That is a very sad end. BUT it amazes me that some governing body has not interfered with this hobby with some form of licensing program in the interests of public safety and / or raising revenue. We know how they love to raise taxes.

The car to the right also needs a new windscreen however, there is usually a disclaimer for cars parking and that is: 'Do so at your own risk'!!Also, I hope they're insured. A couple of cars there may need some paintwork.
Though maybe the operator of the aircraft may have some kind of insurance for third party damage I hope.

Nigel.
