Merlin Engines Ground Battle of Britain Flight

Post by Nigel H-J »

They don't say what the issue is with the Merlin's but the ones' with the Griffon Engines are fine.

Wonder if this problem also affects other Merlin's in other aircraft around Britain? :dunno:

It's possible. I bet other Merlin owners are following this story closely. :agree:

I was on holiday in Weymouth, and waited with thousands of others for the BBMF display. We didn't even hear the announcement that it had been cancelled, but guessed that something was wrong when they didn't arrive on time.

The Red Arrows were on the dot at 17.30, and gave a faultless display in fine weather.
