Part 2

This is a short clip of the winds from Irma after it had moved north of 26° 42' 54" N

https://youtu.be/7zrWdWSQ7HU

The winds coming out of the south.
When the winds were coming out of the east I didn't stand a chance of getting any video.. the wind speed was gusting to 80 mph with debris flying plus with torrential downpours of rain.

Having been through plenty of hurricanes , I know what the people on the west coast were going through and hoped the best for all of them.
I can not imagine what was going through the minds of those who experienced the 185 mph wind speeds of Irma.
The videos can't records that.
I've never seen that! Hope I never do.

Probably a few storm chasers would though.. Because they're NUTS! in the heed.

I don't expect electrical power to the building for a few days .. or the house several miles away.
Blimey, that must have been some wind if the house is now several miles away :-O Sorry to hear you're down to root beer, Joe. Presumably, the National Guard will be flying in supplies of Boddingtons once the wind dies down, yes ? :)

Hopefully the house is OK, sounds like you dodged the bullet this time. Having to deal with Root Beer is a real hardship, send me an address and I will have some decent beer airlifted to you, and yes I am serious about that.

Take care.

Glad to hear that you are safe Joe. Could not have been a very nice experience.

Hey Brian,
The car wash in the neighborhood lost it's sign.

No sign of the blond though.. :(

Joe.
Your generous offer is greatly appreciated. However it's not a important necessity .. infact during times like this I have to keep a clear head. I have a number of people who rely on my technical assistance at all hours of the day and night.
Today I installed 3 generators to homes and 1store.
Robert, who owns the store grabbed my phone off my van bumper and took a video of me making up his generator cord he waited to get until After the storm..of course.
I had a little fun with it for slap-stick effect.... :worried:

BTW Joe
His main business is selling bait and tackle and beer and wine. He has (probably) the widest, biggest, bestest selection of beers in the county

Here are just a few of them

Oh Brian a blond beer in there.. can you find it?
