Funny you should ask Eric, but believe it or not last night I watched Christine, the car possessed by an evil spirit. Went to bed and not long after I felt the bed shake/vibrate :help: ..........sh*t!! :hide:

Thought to myself definitely no more watching any late night horror movies!

Yep, I felt it but did not realise it was another earthquake until I read about it the next morning though it was not as bad as the last one we had. I was on duty on the 5th floor in our C.C.T.V. Control Room when a deep rumbling sound started rather like that of an express train roaring through a long tunnel at full throttle then everything seemed to shake, I was sat down at the time and don't even remember standing up and holding on to the side of the desk, my colleague who was sat near me was no longer in situ but stood in the middle of the control room. this went on for about 10 seconds though seemed longer. I had no idea what was happening and just looked at our monitors shaking. Then as it died away my only thought was that it had been an earthquake but even then I thought that impossible. I think the noise was more frightening than the shaking, it was surreal.

It was measured at a 5.2-magnitude, ever since when I hear of any earthquake occurring I always feel for those involved.

If I had been landing in X Plane my thoughts would have been......'WOW, this is as Real as it Gets' when performing a crap landing!!

Regards
Nigel.
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
