Re: BRITISH AIRWAYS TO PAINT AIRCRAFT WITH MUCH-LOVED DESIGN FROM AIRLINE'S HISTORY
I don't think it's so nefarious. Heritage liveries have been a thing in the US with both Airlines and Railroads for quite some time. I think the trend is just continuing to spread worldwide.
If you want to be cynical about it, consider that the real motivating factor for doing it is to ensure that the various protected marks and Intellectual Property related to those heritages are kept active and thus under the company's control.

Alex, our local Canadian friend has been forecasting disaster in the Western financial system for over a year ; I hope that you're both wrong.
I don't think that nostalgia ever goes out of circulation.

Peter , Good to see you back ; hope you're well .
Agree on the BRITISH , and those dreadful tails .
Cambrian and Northeast , could be colourful ; and we must not forget Bcal .
The 319 looks good .
Passed thriough Denver recently , and spotted an American 320 series in full TWA livery . Very smart .
