It would be right to speculate how it got there seeing they are an Arctic species.

Quite right, Simon, :thumbsup: however, it seems that the South Africans went North, not the Beluga going South, Caption on Sky News copy of the video:
Incredible footage has emerged showing South African rugby players playing catch with a beluga whale near the North Pole.
