Just heard of this sad news, used to watch her when she payed alongside Patrick Macnee in the Avengers. When she left the series it was just not the same!!

Her brother was a RAF pilot and flew Lightnings. I believe that he was the one who broke the sound barrier over London when testing was being done in relation to Concorde possibly damaging properties.

Spent many a happy hour drooling over Mrs. Peel when I was but a spotty kid in the 60's.

She was a talented actress and one of a kind.
