It seems that the kit-bashing one was unpopular, maybe I shouldn't do that again, but maybe everyone was just having time off.

They were launched from Carriers in the Pacific......& were named after an American who dropped bombs on ships (I think).

Basically a B-25 Mitchell, though the kit is to build a PBJ-1D strafing version. I bought it probably 25 years ago when a local supermarket was offloading some cheap Italieri kits. I've got as far as cutting out 3 windows so far.

This one has me a little stumped.
At first glance it looks like a Viking, but the wing is wrong, the tail too far back, fuselage is too skinny and the door and windows should be further back along the hull. But other than that,,,

Well, there have been several suggestions that it's a Concordia.
Many of the shapes are very similar, but the Concordia had tricycle undercarriage, whilst this is a tail dragger.
The top view of the cockpit glazing also varies from the Concordia.
Those who have made other suggestions are, sadly, also off the mark.
It seems to have been an enduring overall look, ranging from the mid 30s through to the 50s.
Here's a clue. I obliterated the tail section, but now I'm going to show you the horizontal bits.
