Superb Chris. We're looking for a wagon to tour Europe and that Fokker would be just the ticket. Now all I need is a runway and a pilot.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, I've just seen this which suggests that my hope to fly the Fokker 50 again between London and Antwerp when all these restrictions have been lifted will not come to be

Back in May, expectations were that flights would be restarted by August.... guess that's not going to happen. I would suggest keeping an eye on this page: http://www.airnieuws.nl/index.html (Yes, the first page is in Dutch but click on 'Fokker' and you'll get the latest fleet news in English). Any updates about airworthy Fokkers usually pops up there.
Due to shortages and cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.

I thought I picked up a couple in Norway last week on FR24?

Other than parts of Africa, S. America or SE Asia, the two most likely places where you could get on an F50 now are Sweden (Amapola Flyg, who were actually leasing Air Antwerp's machine to them) or Alliance in Australia. The last time VLM went bust, I think Amapola Flyg acquired their remaning aircraft. Air Antwerp was then reformed by the last CEO of VLM and leased OO-VLS back from Amapola.
