I think MB still have a facility at Langford Lodge just allow from Aldergrove. In the 70’x and 80’s there were more than a couple of aircraft that accidentally landed at Langford Lodge, mistaking it for Aldergrove.
For me I found that wearing all the clobber, G trousers, boots, underwear, helmet & mask & sitting in the RH seat of a Hunter T7 very comfortable, with the addition of the wet suit a similar state in the back seat of Hawk XX154 out over Cardigan bay. I don't think wearing the NBC hood though, very claustrophobic! I should think the back seat of a Canberra also claustrophobic in the Nav seat, in the RH one you can see more! My Canberra sortie - back in the 50's as an ATC cadet I had a ride on the Rumbold seat - told if need to escape, open the door & I will kick you out!!! Mate of mine on his sortie was brave enough to go to the bomb aimers position in the nose & stayed there for the landing!

Sat in loads of them ( Jag, Phantom, Bucc, Harrier, Victor, Tornado ) but never trusted them. Always always checked the pins were in before I climbed in. Had to attend a mandatory 6 monthly bang seat course with the Dumpies ( armourers ) where we had to know the sequence of events when one goes off.
Standard payment was a barrel or crate of beer to the ejection seat section following a successful escape.
