Re: Looky Looky
Hi fellas,
I'm glad you like it.
The plan was to use my Samsung wb2200. But it was having a fit trying to focus. I pressed the shutter button and saw this in the preview mode.
I put the camera down and pulled my phone out, of my pocket, and took 5 pictures.
Below is the 1st picture of the five , It's blurred. But the first stage separation is much better defined.
Falcon 9 certainly makes a much bigger spectacle in the sky than shuttle.
The key occurrence here is, the time of day the photo was taken. It's after twilight but about 10 minutes before nautical twilight ended. Thus illuminating the rocket's exhaust and atmospheric effects.
But not the atmosphere itself.
PS.
the above picture was photo-bombed by a banana spider.
Can you see it?
I'll I have a gold star up for grabs.

Can I have diamonds, oak leaves and swords, please ?
Re: Looky Looky
Sure
The banana spiders built a huge web between the two trees in the photo last year.
I reckon they catch a lot of bugs
