I wonder if that counts as cruel and unusual punishment? :dunno:

On the other hand, I didn't even know he'd made 15 minutes worth of songs you could listen too in the first place. I hear 5 secs of him and I'm reaching for the channel change dial!

They did something similar when there was a spate of riots and roof-top protests in prisons here. I think it was at Strangeways where they played non-stop heavy metal, without success. The governor was then quoted as saying 'Right, it's time to get serious' and switched from Motorhead to Des O'Connor. I'm not making this up. :)

Apparently the protesters are fighting back by loudly playing the Twisted Sisters classic "We're Not Going To Take It!" in retaliation!

:tunes: :tunes: :tunes:

In addition authorities apparently turned on the sprinklers in an area of green space where protesters had been camping so the protesters used them as showers and dug trenches to divert the water in moats!

and in -20 degree temps. and y'all thought Canadians were lovely kind and understanding people. Yeah maybe in the 1950's. I do wish they would dump the narrative. Canucks are just a shitty as anyone else. :'(

Nah these were the Kiwis down in NZ where it is late summer at the moment so nice and warm. They were trying to copy the Canucklehead protests. :wall:
They were apparently flying the Canuckle flag at the NZ protests too!

Sadly, he did! My Mom and Sister used to listen to him and even went to one of his concerts. The song 'Mandy' is OK, but it needs rocking up a bit.

I have a suggestion for our friends in New Zealand. Put "Their Coming To Take Me Away" by Napoleon XIV on the playlist. That and Manilow should do the trick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Fn36l_z3WY
