New preview of MSFS 40th Anniversary update.
Here's a release preview of what's coming in the 40th anniversary add-on, due in November. Along with the aircraft already announced, there are some new additions, including one BIG one!

Is that A310 the freeware one that was under development from Inbuilds (or something like that?)
Ben.

Yep, that is a big one!
The A310 is the inibuilds one I believe Ben.
Hope the Beaver comes with a wheeled option, and not just floats.

Yes, that's the same one; Inibuilds was going to market it commercially until Asobo/MS bought it for inclusion in the update. There's a lot to look forward to, and I'm very glad I didn't pay out for the Big Radials Grumman Goose. The Hughes H-4 Hercules is the shocker, of course. Another RTW trip coming up !

The thing I find really odd is how few UK aircraft there are in native sim, given how much of early aviation was pioneered here.
Ben.

Agreed. An HP.42 or Shorts C-class flying boat would make an excellent Local Legend.

Bl**dy music again. Will they ever learn?

If anyone's wondering, as I was, about the Grumman Goose, it's not the Big Radials model. This one is being done by Inibuilds, who are also doing the A310. I have a feeling that of all the aircraft coming in the update, the Goose will get the most use from me. Probably the least useful is the Wright Flyer, but I suppose you can't 'celebrate' flight without it.

I think the Beaver and DC3 will be getting the most use here if they're any good.

Oops, forgot the Beaver - yes, that will be a regular too. As for the DC-3, I'll keep an open mind about it.
