Tough collecting

Post by Airspeed »

It's getting hard to add to the collection.
Instruments that I would have picked up for $50 a couple of years ago, are rarely listed at any price.
Then this weekend, an RAAF altimeter was looking good.
I bid $135, but it went for over $180.

That is kind of tough Mike, when you have waited for something to come along that you want, the price goes up!!

That reminds me, when I was 13 years old I bought a working WW11 bombsight possibly from a Lancaster, I don't have it now. 8)

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
