Mark Polles kindly told me this afternoon.

I knew Dave very well through those FS2004 models that we built with Brian Horsey. All those Austers, the Walrus, the Heston Phoenix, the Chrisleas, etc etc. He had such an eye for detail and perfection and was truly a lovely lovely man. Met him once when he came down on holiday and I gave him a ride in an AOP9.

Blue Skies Dave, you will never be forgotten. For all that you did for me and the flight simulator community.

Best wishes,

Martin Pengelly

Words cannot express my sadness at Dave's passing. His creations got me into painting, starting with the Messenger and Gemini models and then all the Austers.
Sleep well Dave.
