Aeroplane Heaven Lancaster Night Ops MS2024

Post by Nigel H-J »

Enjoyed this video and now thinking seriously of whether to buy! :dunno:

One thing I noticed was that the RPM Gauges were steady but there was always a slight fluctuation on some gauges from what I have seen from Just Jane on engine runups. Wonder if Aeroplane Heaven would update that in their model?

Everything in that video looks so real and realistic but TWO problems: no engine start smoke and the engine start propeller spin does not look realistic. The propeller start usually starts with slow spin and then builds up the spinning speed. Am I correct???

Hi Aharon, sorry for late reply, yes there are a couple of things as you wrote. Hopefully that will be addressed at some point though I had also noted that the RPM Gauges did not fluctuate either. I may buy it if things improve.

Here is a video of when the Canadian Lancaster came to Britain and flew with the RAF Lancaster 10 years ago, I was lucky in that they flew over my home a couple of times

I could not resist buying the Lancaster after all and for the first time in years I fired up the Oculus 2 headset just to see what it is like in VR. Boy, it was amazing!!! :welldone: I just could not stop looking around the cockpit. Well worth the money and it fly's really well.
