Interesting recollection of times past...I think the worry about being a back seat passenger could stem by not actually being in control. I get the same occasionally when a passenger in a car...being a driver myself, I see all the things that we see as drivers but when being a passenger it is instinctive to look ahead and I often find myself automatically start applying the 'imaginary' brake pedal. ;)

09-02-26 Sorry it's late in the day, gym earlier, then doctor. I should get organised over the weekend, but organised is easier to spell than do.
I do have a bronze medal in rushing from crisis to crisis, though.
This, of course, is the inside view, with lists of objects, which may help to identify the aircraft:

The McDonnell XP-67 BAT/MOONBAT was unusual in that there were no mis-identifications.
There was, as reported, only one built, and that was lost due to fire.
Everyone gets Diamonds, but we'll skip the Knows Art this week.

PeteP, Brian (Bridon Bear), Simon (simondix), Mick (woody901), AllanL, Joe (blanston12) and Ben (TSR2), your badges follow, and perhaps Ben will show the video, which proves that it did fly at some time.

Well Done and thanks for playing.

The Spotter ferrets were active again this week, tracking down the sole Bristol Type 133.
Congratulations all:
Mick (woody901), PeteP, Brian (Bridon Bear), Joe (blanston12) and Ben (TSR2).
Ben included an article from Dinger's Aviation, (which coincidentally is on my flying visit site as a recommended place to visit.)
Pete, however, was in first with his submission, mentioning the innovations employed in this aircraft, so he gets the Knows Art again.
