At least her billboard status keeps her ther and gives a chance that oine day someone may come along and make an offer.
Being one of the rare types and not a great commercial success make her in a way even more special.
A bit af spit and polish will make her quite presentable.

Hi Leif,
Excellent!!
. The 990 is one of my all time favorite classics. Its so good to see 810 in her current form. I am pleased she is in pretty good shape considering her past as a '
smokin ' workhorse.
I remember the SPANTAX 990's flying into the uk in the early 80's. Its a crime what happened to the old SPANTAX 990's at Palma Airport - Just left to rot in corrosion corner. :curse:

Thanks very much for posting mate..
Best wishes

They always did seem to have that sporty ready to go look.
As if they were on the starting block, stretched out ready for the gun.
The noise and smoke just added to the effect.

The HJG 880 and 990 are great fun to fly, it's like sittin' on a bloomin' rocket!
Just a question, I gather Spantax were an American airline, but could someone (probably Leif  ) tell me where they flew to and from? I'll get some hours in on the HJG model then
Cheers
Rich
