Concur.. thanks DG

Btw.. spent all day flying the Hunter (various mk's) and I don't think this Sabre is a patch on it. A keeper definately

Re the RAF colour schemes, my understanding is that those coded XB had the PRU blue underside, whilst those coded XD had the silver underside (plus a lower demarkation line). This is broadly in line with what has been said as the XB ones were intended for RAF Germany and the XD ones were intended for Fighter Command. There were also a few all silver ones.

Also the top front of the tailfin was usually black

Best regards

Paul

Those vortices work a treat DG.. great work

That paint shown above by Frank Safranek (f-86_raf.zip) is a quality job in the flesh. Go get it all you RAF pilots that haven't already

Chris, the RAF buch will be around soon, I'll probably do 3 groups of 3, and one of 4, so expect 2 zip files soon

RE the tailfin, All shots I've seen *so far* show a grey fin cap.

Already got the PRU underside, and silver for the UK based jets.

Blimey you guys work fast!!
I'd love an "RAF Pack" so I could remove all of the other paints that I will never fly
Here here! Although having said that, ALL of the supplied paints are of the highest quality and are many and varied, I just want that 71 Sqn machine up and running.......

Sorry I didn't make my comment more clear. As you say, they all have a grey fin cap, but at the very front of that grey fincap there is usually a black edge.
