There was a DH Venom based at Centennial airport for a while (don't know if it's still there), and the F-86 is powered by a centrifugal-flow turbojet and they do sound different than axial-flow engines, but when at full power, they all sound the same - loud. :wink:

I did see the turbofan on the GTBA site and it looks interesting, however I'd like to see it in operation and find out how much thrust it actually produces.

May be at MSO, but their flight department is based (and MX is based) at Fort Collins and Boulder (Boulder for the smaller aircraft, Fort Collins for the rest). :smile:
