Thanks for the positive comments, guys: I'm only too happy to be able to give something back, as well as to make 'our' aircraft fly as nearly as possible to 'as they were', I hope.
We DO need a bit higher profile for Classic British Files: if it helps to give them a small bit of exclusivity, I'll be posting all my releases only there for the forseeable future.
Next up should be the Beverley FDE/repaint/panel (not this week) :tuttut: and I will put together a set of packages of Canberra FDEs - including the ones I did in December - when I have completed the PR9.
After all that has been said about avsim recently, and the long-a***d way of doing things at flightsim, I concur with Kev - I think CBF will be first port of call
Go back to basics my friend. Re-install the Gannet - Ito version as downloaded - & run FS to check that works. If it does, (quickly passing over the 'if it doesn't' bit ), then replace the 'Aircraft.cfg', 'Gannet.air' & the 'panel.cfg' files as necessary.
I did this, (having had a go at 'adjusting' the 'Aircraft.cfg' file my self - & ending up with an aircraft that bounced, even static/no power ), and had no probs at all.
Just to go off at a slight tangent Bob, I've had a look at your Victor pics - looks like Ito sans tanker needs a bit of a makeover as well, change those big old sixties style roundels to the pink and blue etc.....what do ya reckon? Some good pics there by the way, now I know why you call yourself what you call yourself
It appears that you win the prize for spotting my deliberate mistake  !
Because I was working on both Gannets (AEW & AS), I renamed the model folders (in my setup) for each aircraft to avoid mixups. It seems that in doing so, I created a mixup, because I forgot to change back when I uploaded. Sorry.
To fix it, go to the new 'aircraft.cfg' file, find the line 'model=aew3' and correct it to read 'model='. Do this for each repaint.
Alternatively, you could rename the model folder 'model.aew3'.
