Guernsey=GCI(EGJB)
GUR=Gurney/Alotau(AYGN)
TFR=Tarbes, France(LFBT)
BSL=Basel, Mulhouse(LSFB)
Both AMS and SPL=Amsterdam, Schipol(EHAM)
ABD=Abadan, Iran(OIAA)
BER=an airline not an airport.
BVA=Beauvais (LFOB)
GRO=Girona(LEGE)
AGP=Malaga(LEMG)
MAH=Menorca(LEMH)
VCE=Venice(LIPZ)
RMI=Rimini(LIPR)
GOA=Genova(LIMJ)
ALC=Alicante(LEAL)
IATA Three letter codes are pretty useless for this sort of work as people tend to make them up and they are therefore often completely wrong. The ICAO four letter codes are far superior and unambiguous.

That just proves my point...It is LFBT in both quotes but I have it listed as TFR and you have it as LDE...The four letter code LFBT is unambiguousCharlie Bravo wrote:Tarbes is listed as LDE/LFBT.

We seam to be making a lot of routes. It may make things simpler for us if all the flights terminated at the Stasted hub unless they are continuing on to some more distant location. That way the default resting spot for all AC and pilots is in the same place.

Well, I am trying to make things as authentic as possible regarding route structure. When a lot of these aircraft were flying, Stansted didn't exist as such I think. Once you get into the Flight Bookings page you will see that are offered the choice of ALL routes, onALL aircraft on which you are type rated, from your current location. If for example you were type rated on everything, your choice would be enormous. Spreading the routes around UK and creating hubs is a good thing.
My intention with the purchase of the Doves is to use these as pilot 'hacks' and create routes between all our hubs. So, if you end up at EGKK and want to make a flight out of another airport and there is a Dove at EGKK, use the Dove to fly to your next airport from which you want to fly a 'heavy'. Hopefully we will have enough Doves spread around the UK to be able to do this. Of course if you still want to 'buy a ticket' you still can.
Good eh ?
Regards
John
